HALLOWEEN MAKE UP TUTORIAL ON PHOTOSHOP!!!

BOO!

HEY CHLOE!!!!!!! :DDDD

It's like finally I update you. And I'm so sorry, after a long absence, I finally come back with a bad face of mine up there hahahaa. But guess what?! IT'S HALLOWEEN!!! *huraaaaayyyyyyy* So, to celebrate it, I will give you guys a tutorial of mine on how to edit halloween pictures on PHOTOSHOP. :D

Make-up is never gonna be my thing I may say. I can't even apply eyeliner till today (I know I know, don't judge me okay, it's just my hands always tremble whenever I try to apply it and it always results in so-called swollen eyes). Well, since I don't wanna be too desperate, I searched on the internet on how to edit halloween pictures and I started to edit since Halloween of 2011,yeap last year. :D

And now, since I've known the ways, I wanna share this with all of you guys, so we will have scary pictures together on the next Halloween! :D Doesn't it sound good? :D hahahhaa. Well, I know I'm not an expert yet, but I hope this could be helpful a bit for all of you :D

SOOOOOOO, LET'S START! :D

Choose a picture of you that you're gonna edit (ignore my face thanks xx)

The very first step that I use is choosing SPONGE TOOL over there. Its function is to make your skin looks pale, apply it over your skin :D

Taddaaaaaa, see the difference? :D Alright, move on.

Now, choose BURN TOOL
Remember to adjust the upper part of the screen, look at there, I'm using:
Range : Shadows
Exposure : 64%

Burn the skin around your eyes (it's up to you how dark you want your skin to be) :D

Done??? Okay let's move on.

ADD NEW LAYER. (see the right side, there there there, see? Okay good.)

Now, choose the BRUSH TOOL.
Well, for this one, first thing first you have to download TEARS BRUSH KIT in order to move on to the next step.
No worry, click on the link :D and you're there :D

Apply that on your skin, with the red colour (I want to make myself look like crying blood).
Remember, you're applying this on LAYER 1 tab.

Use CTRL + T to transform your tears, or you also can simply erase some parts to form the tears into the shape you desire.

Now, click on SMUDGE TOOL. Its function is to smudge something so it doesn't look too stiff :D

Smudge it on the tears you created.

Done?? Are you still with me? Hehehee.

Okay, now,

Choose the BURN TOOL back, on the range of SHADOWS, and burn the side of the tears till it's darker.
(You're still applying this on LAYER1 tab)

Click on the BACKGROUND tab, and burn the skin around the tears till it looks abit darker. This is to make the blood looks better.

Add another layers, and repeat the same steps :
Brush tool -> Transform / erase -> Burn tool
(PS : I created different layers for different tears to make everything easier when I wanna transform the shape)

Apply SPONGE TOOL again to make you look more zombified. :D

SMUDGE the tears if you want :D

Okay, now, prepare a red lense picture (search on the internet).
Use ELIPTICAL MARQUEE TOOL and SELECT THE LENSE,
DRAG to the picture you're editing.

Okay, you still with me? Hehehe.

Use the MAGIC WAND TOOL, click on the white part in the middle of the lense, and press DELETE.
It will turn out like this

Drag it to your eyes,

RIGHT CLICK ON THE LENSE LAYER -> BLENDING OPTION -> LOWER THE OPACITY
(Depends on your picture, how clear you want your lense to be)

Click on the BURN TOOL again, and adjust the range into HIGHLIGHTS.
Burn the sides on your lense.
This will make your eyes look real.

AND GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!!! WE ARE ALMOST DONE!!!!! :DDDD
*YAYYYYY*

I love blood spills around my lips :D, so I used the BURN TOOL, range : SHADOW,
and burned some parts of my lips. :D

You can always burn the other parts to make yourself look scarier :DD

And the LAST STEP,
write your own name there if you want to :DD

and congratulations,

YOU'RE DONE!

*throw confetti*

Okay, I really hope the tutorial above can give you clear explanations on how to do it. If you have any question you can simply drop comment here, and you also can request photoshop tutorials if you want :DD And if I can help, I will surely put the tutorials here on my blog :D Sharing is caring isn't it :) But please abide if I have limitations on doing it, I'm not a photoshop expert yet hahahaha :DD

Here are some photoshoped pictures of mine for Halloween theme :DD

So, it's the end of my post
I hope you enjoy <3 p="p">

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2012!!

xx

  1. You could make the brush on your skin more realistic by applying "Layer Overlay", you know.

See the highlighted section on this pic:

Click the dropdown and try all the mode one by one. There's actually a specific use case for each mode, but it'll be too long to write here :D
